Just an old window hook from the 50's...

All feedback is welcome!

A ring for three fingers!

@Stephane Themeze: Only if those fingers are very small!

Beautiful! Your signature is 'written' all over this image :)
I like the soft tones and the dof is lovely.

@LESLIE: Thanks, Les! I think the old window hooks and doorhandles are attractive. Old things have beautiful details, even this simple hook.

Leena from Joensuu, Finland

Noin sievästi mökin ikkunan haka voi tulla lempeässä kuvassa esiin, kun "hoksausta" ja taitoa riittää !

2 Nov 2009 2:22pm

@Leena: Olen kuvannut näitä vanhoja mökin yksityiskohtia useasti, mutta enemmänkin itseäni varten. Nyt päätin kokeilla, vetoaako tämä muihin. Kiitos käynnistä, Leena!

Loner from Wörgl, Austria

daniela scharnowski from Berlin, Germany

I know what happened - all your sweet flowers are now inthe camera - your garden is empty, so you chose to clean up the house by the same method, ay?
;D
I love the everyday surroundings pictured like this - we see them more intensely when they are on a monitor - strange world & minds - what happened?

2 Nov 2009 9:05pm

@daniela scharnowski: Oh no, dear Daniela, I have no intention to present my home or cottage to you piece by piece. This is only a byway, tomorrow I'm back in the nature. =D

Love the selective focus and composition!

3 Nov 2009 12:13am

@Dawn: Thanks, Dawn! The focus area is really selective and small this time...

Earnest from Oklahoma, United States

Very interesting detail that held my interest longer than most photos...

@Earnest: I'm not surprised. Changes are good both to the photographer and the viewer.

Krisu from Tampere, Finland

Yksityiskohta, joka on tuttua tutumpi ja harvemmin kuvattu, ehkä. Hyvä!

7 Nov 2009 8:57am

@Krisu: kiitos! Olen itse tosi ihastunut näihin mökin vanhoihin yksityiskohtiin - mutta suurin osa ei toimi kuvissa. Nämä ikkunahaat ovat kiitollisia kohteita.
